Roundhouse Opening Times

The field containing the Roundhouse is open on most days, unless being used by schools or groups hiring the Roundhouse, to allow visitors to view its exterior close up. The inside of the Roundhouse is only open on specific dates, normally Sundays, listed below. Please note that although there is no charge for viewing the Roundhouse either externally or internally, there is a £2 car parking charge, which goes towards the maintenance of the Roundhouse and Country Park.

On Roundhouse Open Afternoons, visitors can explore the Roundhouse and meet ancient Britons around the log fire to learn about life 2000 years ago. There are also regular craft demonstrations or practical activities to enjoy – for more details of these, please see the Events page of this website.
